Firstly GRANDMA, your birthday present arrived for Ella today and it is the most wonderfully perfect gift for her. A snowflake for our little snow fairy. She LOVES it! We only wish it had arrived before the weekend as it would have been perfect to wear in the nutcracker.
And speaking of snow...yes it came on Saturday night. 10 1/2 inches of lovely snow. It was so beautiful out there yesterday morning. Honey and I went out for a photo shoot before a day of snow shoveling and driving kids everywhere...
The kids had more nutcracker performances and by the time we went to watch their 3pm performance they both looked like they were ready to fall asleep. Both of them kept yawning. Kit especially- but since he'd woken up at 4 am ready to go out and play in the snow before I sent him back to bed, I wasn't really surprised. So I kept them home today. We had heaps planned, but Kit was actually feeling unwell and just puked up all over the dining room floor/table/my handbag. I went to the doctor this morning to get antibiotics for my obviously infected sinuses. So instead of doing a bit of room tidying before Santa comes and going to do some Christmas shopping, we've been movie watching and napping. At least I mopped the floor though!
