Feeling the love!

Today the kids have a 1/2 day and then we have a 4 day weekend! Got to love Thanksgiving. The thing I find hardest about living in the US is that the school semesters just seem to drag on and on and on. You get a little break here and there (a day) but the stretch from September to Christmas seems SO LONG. Which is why I'm feeling giddy with the joy of the prospect of some time off. AND we're going to friends this year for Thanksgiving; not going away to VT (packing) or having it at home (cleaning and cooking). Somehow it all feels just too easy! Hope you have a happy weekend too.

  3. Happy Thanksgiving to you all...so good that you can have a break from all those things that us mums have to do this year...(did you get your pudding made by the way???)
i think that us Australians should adopt Thanksgiving...perhaps there would be more happy families and less grumps about....

One day I'm going to spend Thanks Giving with you - especially if you live in The City...
