Where are we again?

I was commenting to mum the other night on the phone that this Connecticut winter has been more like a Tasmanian winter so far (apart from a few very cool days early in December)...but today it's more like a Sydney winter's day. Ella and I have sat out in the sun in t-shirts painting some pots and it was warm. We had a lot of rain yesterday so this morning it was super humid too. So 18 degrees and humid...hmmm...very Sydney. I am sure that today will be a record for a January day...I'm actually worried that all my bulbs I planted are going to come up next week!

And the other weather phenomenon we've been having is FOG. Lots of fog, although that may be standard around here this time of year. I caught it on camera yesterday as it began to roll in, not much later we could hardly see across the pond to the houses on the other side.
It is very pretty when the fog rolls in...very eerie. I should have gone up to the graveyard in our lane for some very atmospheric pics, although I have been waiting for snow as I love the image of snow on grave stones.
Who knows what the weather will bring next...my web weather says possibility of snow showers on Tuesday night with the temperature plummeting to 3 degrees (it's just gone up to 19 now) but I won't hold my breath. I'm so glad we bought all those snow boots, hats and mittens! And to those who think in Fahrenheit...sorry, but I just don't!

Georgia those photos are beautiful!! Maybe you could do some paintings from them? I hope you don't have to wait too long for snow to arrive - I'm sure you'll ll be out dancing in it and we'll have loads of snow photos.
