Paper
I don't think that there is anyone else out there who will get as excited by this photo of paper as me. Yes, it's just boring brown paper, but I made it from garlic and onion skins and the texture is divine. Poor Matt has had to squirrel away all the skins every time he cooked (I did too) and I finally had enough to make this paper. I made this last week when we had the really warm weather, but even so it's taken ages to dry. I always get impatient for it to dry and this has buckled a bit. I've kept the water I used to cook it down in hoping to use it to dye some more wool at some stage. I love making paper and using it for cards and various other things. I'm looking forward to making some more.
