Rooster

Here's our gorgeous boy at his Xmas concert for the school bands. It was very sweet (just grades 4 and 5) with strings, the advanced band and choir. The band is very small and not nearly in the same league as any of the school bands at their old school in Sydney. But it was lovely to be able to go
and watch him anyway.

Oscar had one for his band at the high school (they needed a big auditorium) a few weeks ago. But in typical Oscar style we had no idea what was going on with it until the last minute. So while we went and watched, we didn't get photos. And he got very cross with us when we had to leave after his band went on and didn't stay for the whole performance. Once again, the band wasn't in the same league as his band in Sydney.

But I'm really proud of both of them as they are going so well. Their report cards were great (still trying to convince Oscar that a bit more effort will get him straight As like Remi-something which is expected here.). I had to go out and buy them some "good" clothes yesterday as they keep having activities where they are expected to where shirt and dress pants (I guess that's the beauty of school uniforms).

Ella has a "share" next week, but unfortunately the biggest performer in the family doesn't get a chance to perform at all this Xmas (something that he is well annoyed about!).
