the love affair continues

Here is a photo of the pomegranate that Remi and I DEVOURED yesterday. Note the colour of the juice that comes out of them...I had to bleach all the white benches and white cupboards afterwards as that stuff goes EVERYWHERE! Remi (the darling) had talked Matt int0 buying this for me when they were at the supermarket last week, and as we are off the Vermont today I thought I'd better finish it off.

I kept the skins and the piths in the vague hope that I may be able to use them to dye some wool. I can't believe that something with so much Tannin in it wouldn't produce some kind of dye. Hopefully all my chemicals and natural dye stuffs that I have ordered will arrive by the time we get back from Vermont and then I can begin my great dyeing adventure. I'm so excited!!!!

Anyway, I won't be back at the computer before Monday , so have a wonderul week and happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate it.
