Ella and Shelby with their project and reading their speeches.

They are so funny together.  Shelby is the oldest of 4 and Ella the youngest and Ella tells me all the time that they are really different, but they get on so well.

The kids all sang a bunch of patriotic songs, but Ella's face was very sour through them all-she feels she is betraying her Aussie roots.

Oh and after 2 days of searching everywhere I found my keys.  They were in my handbag; the handbag that I totally emptied on Sunday morning looking for them.  A bit twilight zone-ish.
