out and about

No news on the house yet- don't ask!.  As Matt said tonight, out of all the leasing agreements we've come up against over the last 15 years or so, this one is proving the most troublesome.  Doesn't help that he is the only lawyer actually working on it and that our "representing agent" is actually the landlords agent.  We will see if we sort it all out by Sunday, otherwise we may have to walk away and start looking again.

I have been feeling really bad that I've had no blogworthy posts of late.  My days seem to either be ridiculously busy (with furniture browsing- my preparation before I actually start shopping, or, like today, helping my friend spend her money on rugs), or eerily empty.  I have found that I am making a nice little network of friends...slowly, slowly, but tomorrow is a family picnic day at Kit and Ella's school so here's hoping that I meet some more people.  I have, of course, put my name down to do some face painting.

And because I don't like to blog without pictures, here's some taken out and about...

(all these photos were taken by Oscar)

And one I took of Ella's hair the other day (so she could see it).  Seriously folks, I'm giving you whatever was on the camera.

  2. Great photos Oscar - brings Singapore back for me - though from some years ago... And an amazing plait, George and Ella - like a fairy story. I wonder if there are specifically Singaporean myths / legends / stories - could be interesting for face-painting.
Still holding the hope for the house.

  6. Hi Georgia,

Fingers crossed for the house. I know absolutely nothing about Singapore so if you fancy doing some news or history of the place it would be really interesting. I mean what religion are most people, culinary influences, are they mostly young or old, population? I guess I could ask Wikipedia I suppose!
